Editorial policy
This policy explains how the pages and guides on adwortise.com are researched, written, checked and kept up to date.
How are pages written?
- Answer first. Each section opens with a sentence that answers its heading and can be read on its own.
- One page, one question. A page covers its own subject and links to related pages instead of repeating them.
- Plain language. Technical terms are explained the first time they appear.
- No filler. If a sentence does not help the reader decide or act, it is removed.
Where do the facts come from?
- Search engines and platforms
- Statements about how Google, AI assistants and ad platforms work are taken from their own published documentation.
- Data
- Search volumes, ranking difficulty and click costs come from Semrush. Each page states the date of the data, and the method is explained on the US locations page.
- Statistics
- No statistic is published without a source. Where no reliable figure exists, the page says so.
- Examples and illustrations
- Illustrations and worked examples are labeled as examples. They are not client results.
- Client results
- Results are published only from real client projects, with the client's permission and the source of each figure.
How are pages kept up to date?
Every article and policy page shows the date it was last updated. Pricing is updated when prices change. Pages that use search data show the date of that data, and the figures are replaced when the data is refreshed.
